The phonetic string must begin with <<~ and end with >> Imbedded Commands (must be preceeded by a '\' within the phonetic string). \S0..9 - Speed of delivery \0..99 - Pitch codes (for all following phonemes) \V - Raise pitch of next vowel \\ - Lower pitch of next vowel \' - Primary stress (rise in pitch increased length) \" - Secondary stress (slight rise in pitch slight increase in length) \- - Unstressed (fall in pitch reduced length) \D1..9 - Delay codes 1 to 9 (for pauses) When a word is double clicked in the trainer word list, a phonetic representation of the word will be shown on the Sounds-Like line of the trainer.
